Artist Statement
In elementary school, art was always my sanctuary. A room that was a perpetual, yet somehow intentional mess, full of bright colors and potential. In the fourth grade I was determined to become a fashion designer, until I realized my only interest in fashion design was the doodling process, so that was the end of my creation journey for a long time. Throughout high school I started to dabble a bit more with art classes and my interest spiked once again. The sentiment solidified in my senior year and it is now my goal to always keep a canvas or two around for whenever the inspiration hits.A common theme in my art work is the implications of beauty standards. I hope to push out my ideas onto paper and not be afraid to visualize any thought.

Artist Philosophy
It's great fun to discuss art, but it is my firm belief that it should never be explained. If there was a point blank message that the artist wanted his audience to receive, he would have written an article instead to eliminate any misconceptions and thus eliminating any gray area. If you enjoy art, you live in that gray area. Interpretations should be like snowflakes and fingerprints.
